How good is this skimmer? I have the opportunity to get one with a rio 600 pump for $50. It will be going on a 38 gallon seahorse tank......any thoughts?

I have one that I bought used that had been upgraded to a MJ1200.

I like it; it was easy to set up and works well for a smaller tank (anything below 55g, although it's rated for more). I can't comment on the efficiency when using the rio 600.

It works better with the surface skimmer attachment/box. I made my own.
