My hermit crabs decided to congregate on the Purple Sea Fan!

Here are some other photos I took today . . .
Carpet Anemone enjoying the light:

Tiger Stripe Goby watching me. It likes to "sit" on the back side of the tank so I leave the green algae growing there since I've seen the goby picking at it.

A small colony of Lobed Star coral that I think has grown and is spreading out a bit:

Blade Gorgonian feeding in the current:

a Haitian mushroom!! Oh cool, and here I was wondering how difficult it is to keep mushrooms. ;) These have grown and measure about 6 inches across.

Thanks for the ID, Richard.

in my exp. shrooms are very easy to keep, often seem to take all kinds of conditions.

if to much light they will shrink or detatch and move.

if the conditions are good in a while you will find small ones in different places, sometimes they make small shrooms on the main one's base and then go looking for a place to land.
sometimes they just seem to appear from no where.

You should have a bit more life in your tank this afternoon!

Excellent Richard, thank you! The algae can get a bit out of control without the full complement of clean up crew. There is still the large orange turbo snail you sent with the original Part 2 as a hitchhiker in a bag all by itself. It has gotten so big nothing messes with it. Good thing, too. It does a great job on the glass.

Have you ever used an underwater scooter when working your aquaculture site? I think you need a new toy if you think you'd like to try it. Let me know.
