I'd say he's good, until those eyes begin glowing in the dark.

Thanks for the response. I'm planning to keep him with a lionfish and a snowflake moray eel.

Yes, there is the danger that the eel might get him but I hope he can survive among the rocks. The eel is fat and well fed so I hope he doesn't need to snack on a small crab.
