it being out of water makes it hard to identify. first did you just get this staghorn? there are crabs that live in sps and actually protect them. others eat them. he looks hairy so im guessy gorilla crab. is he eating anything? i mean your sps that he was found on? any dead spots just pop up? if you are a coral guy i wouldnt even think about it...he could be ok but for your corals just get him out for good!
could be an sps crab thats not a threat! do a search and compare pics. another thought.....ask urself have u added any new corals or rocks latly? if not in the last 3 months then hes been thee=re for a while and if the corals are ok he must not be feeding on them. me personally as a coral lover id give him away or send him to the sump/

very true .....like i asked before if the sps looks good...no patches,etc,,,,then its most lickly an acro crab and safe...if your unsure then id move it! looks and sounds like hes ok...but go with YOUR own gut feelings.
