It came in on some LR a couple weeks ago. brownish color small about the size of a thumb nail and has two white stripes down his back(they must be racing stripes cause he is pretty fast)He is furry looking unless its algea on him thank you

ok i see it now does'nt look like a gorilla but it is very compact like one. Either way from what i see i would'nt leave it in my tank it would be banished to life inprissonment in the sump.

Isn't that where your octupi is? If so they're gone now.

I have a Grorilla crab in my 125. I have about 250lbs of LR and stacked in way's to make caves and such. I watch him move around every night and he has never so much as moved a rock out of place. He moves very carefully around every thing. He also is a very good cleaner. He live's in peace with every thing in the tank. He started out the size of a dime and is now about the size of a quater. He has even let me pet him. With all that being said though, if he ever does get out of line or break the rules, then off to the sump he will go.

Also I have come to realize what may work in my tank, may not work in your tank. ;) Doesn't make either right or wrong.

Yes that is where my octopus is lol.
I do have a small section that I dont think my octopus can get in, haven.t caught him there yet, the only enterence is 3mm holes apart from opening the lid.
But my point was I would'nt want to leave the crab in the main tank.
