A reef safe crab? maybe 2 of 4,000 species at best.
Anything with claws or pinchers, trouble IMM.
Even shrimp not reef safe as they bother LPS corals by stealing food.
Hairy legs. Bad sign.
Trouble, maybe not now, but if food becomes scarce, he’ll eat what he can catch.
Caveat emptor.

I’d agree with Ruby mithrax. I have 2 or 3 in my tank. Been model citizens but I have plenty of algae for them

He's back in the tank. No issues with him.
