crabs trap

have anyone here successfully built a trap to catch those pesky crabs ? ... please share. Thanks

The best trap I ever had was a 3" tall baby food jar. Just put it next to some of your live rock rubber band a small chunk of shrimp to a small rock and just wait. It may take a few days or week or so, but it works.
They can get in but the sides of the glass are too slippery, they can't get out.

hmmm interesting, I was thinking about maybe making a box out of acrylic with a hole on top ... and using basically the same idea

That might work too.
But being a grampa, baby food jars are all over the place.lol
Any small jar or container will work.
