Crack in top corner of sump opinions wanted

Looking for some advice here. Bought an eshopps r200, and upon arrival found a crack at the top left corner. Company I bought it from offered me a significant discount if I keep it, or will refund me if I prefer. I don't believe the cracked area will ever even be underwater. Thinking about using some Weldon on the crack then putting a patch over it just in case. Any thoughts opinions on keep it, fix it, send it back, would be much appreciated.

Yea, I'd just patch the corner. Overlap the seem.

Any advice on patching it? What do you mean by overlap the seam? Really appreciate the advice

If it's acrylic, use acrylic and Weldon. If it's glass, use glass and silicone. By overlapping the seem, I mean use two pieces of glass or acrylic. Glue the first piece of the left side of the tank. Bring the patch up to the edge so it covers the seem. Glue the second piece to the front. Cover the seem you just made with the other patch. Make the patch pieces at least twice the size of the original crack.
