Thanks for the link option61c. I'm debating whether to replace the trim or the entire tank. Since the trim was showing signs of stress, I'm not sure what (if any) undue stress has been on the seams. So I may just start fresh with a new tank.

Either way, I appreciate everyone's input and opinions. I received a great answer from uncleof6 right off the bat, but it has been interesting to gain many other viewpoints and suggestions along the way.
