Cracked For Life...!!! Help

I just read through all eight pages of this..

I know that cfl cs must just kill you.. I hate to see people question your integrity..

Wish people knew how you well you treat your own customers.. Your customer support is second to none.. Who could I call at 10pm on a thursday nite on their cell to have a new turbo shipped next day air in the morning to make the races on saturday :)

Good Luck Camp hope this all comes to an end eventually..

I have been following this thread also, and this is one of those cases where, the business has takne the burden on of publishing thier policy right in their name. And in doing so, left themselve susceptable to a common interpretation that the will do and replace thier equipment for the life of the product. (Erego thier name, clear for life)

It is a simple interpretation and probably not accuracte, as would be clarified in thier published policies, but due to that simple interpretation and the benefit that the company derived from such, it is deplorable that they first off , did not tanke care of this customer, and then had the audacity to make the statmentts they did in open forum. (it is one thing fo rthe customer to not be right all the time, but to claim that he is wrong... tsk tsk tsk)

It is clear that cfl has lost business do this issue and they way they handled it.

Certainly in hind sight, they probably regret some of what has happened or how it has happened, and now would be a good time to find a way for them and all to save face and become humble enough to settle this

It may be unfortunatte thet to coplete this portion of the negotiation, you may need to file the claim in small claims court, in the city where you procurred the equipment, so as to add the 'what if' factor in case they do not complete the negotiations fairly.

The earlier you do this the better, as time is actually on thier side, as there are statutory limits for filing, and the potential for you to mitigate your damages by procurring other equipment or options.

File the paperwork, and watch out how quickly they pony up.

Also, if and when they do settle, you should also let everyone that they did so, albeit under duress...

Good luck

Bill

It is not just "their name" that insinuates a lifetime warranty. They state it (or at least did) directly on their website. Lifetime warranty and "we stand behind our products 100%..."

They likely do not regret their actions, as that mode of operation is what keeps them in business :D

The implications I was referring to in thier name was CLEAR for life. That would literally only refer to being transparent for the life of the product.

But due to the thier name and as you mentioned thier bold faced fonts indicating what you already typed leaves no doubt that there is little to NO limitations to thier warranty.
