Cracks/Scratches Glass Tank

Hello,

I wanted to ask how many of you have cracks or scratches on your glass tank, and how long have you had them?

I've just recently got my water quality clearer than it's ever been, and have been spotting these reallllllllly thin cracks or scratches on the tank. None of them seem to be growing, I can't feel them with my finger passing over it or manager to use my nail or something to split the crack so I'd say they aren't deep cracks in the slightest.

I'm not sure if it's because the tank water is now very clear, or now I'm looking at the tank more often but they appear to come out of the wood work in the past few days.

I'm working on getting some pictures but they are so thin and some are only visible from certain angles. I'll post some ASAP

I just wanted to know how common they are and what are some potential remedies I could apply to ease some of the stress on the tank.

Here's the biggest one I've found.

I consider it the biggest cause it seems to be the widest. Not from end to end of the crack but the thickness of the width.

That's just a surface scratch, and other than being unsightly, is nothing to be worried about. If it were a crack you would be asking how to clean up all the water on the floor.

If you bought the tank used then it is very common to find small scratches once the tank is full of water, my last tank was purchased empty without any water and once I got it home and filled it up it looked fine but once the cloudiness from adding sand cleared up I found a lot of fine scratches and some that were deep enough to feel with my fingernail.
