Craigslist find

Um... $650 for a 135? I'll sell you my drilled 125 for half of that. Seriously, that person is high. But not as high as the next guy, who may have the nicest tank and stand ever for $750, but is too lazy to snap a picture. Really? No picture?! You don't even have a *(@&$#() cell phone camera? FAIL.

Yeah, those prices seem pretty high. Considering that you can get those tanks for $2 per gallon during fish store sales new, and you could build a nice stand for $250, I see no reason spend even close to that much on used tanks....

Ah, a rebuttal! The purveyor PMed me, but I feel the need to share, as he is quite appropriately busting on me.

Dude with the 180 says:

Hello, I saw your post about the 180 I had for sale. I know you must be a very important person but reading is a simple skill. I listed on the post I was at the office and could not take photos of the tank. The tank did sell for 700.00 with out photos so I guess I am lucky. Anyway just make sure you read the post before making a stupid comment.

Dear Dude:

1 - This is the internet. Is is, by law or at least tradition, my RIGHT to make stupid comments.
2 - That you explained why you didn't take pictures is immaterial. The simple fact is, all I needed to see to back up my claim of "FAIL" is your heading, your price, and your lack of photos. That I read no further is my entire point.
3 - I'm glad you sold your setup, it sounds like a nice tank for a future reefer. Not sure if you are lucky or a great salesman. Because I don't know what you sold. Because you didn't... never mind.
4 - Telling someone to "learn to read" while typing "with out" as two words is EPIC FAIL. And hilarious.

Thanks craigslist dude, for making me smile. A very nice end to the weekend.

S !
