CRAP! Fish caught Ich =/

Thanks for the article. All the spots are gone today, although I know that doesn't mean the Ich is gone. I will continue to feed garlic. Do you think I should add the medication anyway? I picked up some "reef safe" ich medicine.

Too me there isn't any reall reefsafe medicine... unless you get a tiny tank to medicate them separately.

I just feed the fish constantly with Garlic ( helps with fish appetite and some say once in the fish's system.. .the ich dosnt like the taste of the fish after ???? ), Selcon as ( a bonding agent for food and vitamins ), Vita-C for ( Vitamin supplementation ) and you can add other stuff, I add cyclopeeze to it too ( for taste and omega fatty acids )...

doing so helps the fish stay strong to fight the ich off when it comes back during the 6 week period

yeah. The medicine says reef safe, and I don't have any more coral in that tank. Just a few pieces of LR left. Even if the spots are gone, I still have to wait out the 6 weeks? I figured if the spots were gone 2 weeks would be enough.

even if the fish dont show signs of ich, the water in your ST still has ich floating around, you would still need to wait no matter what.
