not at all, it just takes a steady hand...lol and a macro lense doesn't hurt either!

I'm too shaky, can rock a tripod even. Difficult to say for sure, but at least 25+ depending on what you call a chalice (e.g. PPE chalice, didn't count that or that Applejacks Chalice which is definitely a favia, same as the Strawberry Shortcake favia). You can add the Burning Embers to that as well, should be receiving her next week. Tell me, how bad is it Doc? Does the degree of my obsession approximate that of yours? Still have a few that are on my list, you might be surprised which ones.

I love these threads. It amazes me on the color morphs that are available.

I know Matt, still hurts, but have gone way over on the coral budget lately and had to draw a line somewhere (actually, my wife is helping me with that, lol!). Not sure how those colors would have held up in my barebottom tank, not so experienced with fungias, although I have one that is thriving. Picked up a few chalices instead. Trying to rationalize it to myself still, with mixed results. Nice Pink Splash Kev! So many watermelons out there, "collect all 100+!" We are worse than little kids with Poke Mon cards.

I was never a fan of rainbow trachys when I saw pics online - but I had a chance to see them in real life today and wow... I'm in love. :smokin: They are not everybody's cup of tea but everytime I look at the swirl of colors, I go crazy. All shots taken with flash.
