crazy critter last night

Ok, sorry for no pic but would have been impossible to get. Last night there was this extremely fast and agile little red thing darting all over my tank after the lights were out for about 30 minutes.it was about 1/4 to 1/2 inch long and as wide as the ball point on a pen. Up and down the glass and back and forth. At one point my clown woke up and tried to get it but it was too fast. It must have gotten spooked by the clown because I searched after the clown took a stab and couldn't locate it.

Any input on what this coul possibly be would be appreciated as I keep a lot of zoas

Sounds like the reproductive portion of some polychaete worms. Try asking in the "other invertebrates" forum. If that's what it is, your zoas have nothing to worry about.

Thanks for the reply monti. Funny thing is I had 125 views on this thread bufore anyone replied but if I'd have posted a thread for look at my new zoas I'd have had at least 10 replies by now. Ill definitly take your advice and repost and look into polychaete worms
