x2 for tunicates. Can you see the tunic (it looks like a mesh basket) in each bubble? It's part of their filtering apparatus.

you know what awesome, i wanted blue sponge for awhile, then i was moving rock around BAM!!! blue sponge hidden in rock work. iv always wanted tunicates when i see them in the store i know they have the big hard shell looking ones but hey ill settle for these. iv always wanted a million dollars also so ill get to looking in my tank some more.....lol

Tunicates fo sho. Very interesting colony, I have never seen them grow like octopus eggs. That was my first thought. Very cool.

On the blue sponge, i found the best way to get that to thrive is when you get a piece break it up into crumbs and smear it in the shaded parts of your rock. Not all will stick and survive, but most pieces grow into little colonies.

so i could just scrap some off with a razor of where it is now and relocate pieces ill try to put some into holes elsewhere. i have tons of other sponge pink, black, white, yellow, tan, orange but just one 4-5 inch strip of blue though.
