Any idea what these are. Here's 2 images best I could take. I have 2 varities of them in my tank, these pinkish ones and then ones that are pure black. I couldn't get a pic of the black ones. They look like turbo snails with no shells sort of, although there does appear to be some sort of shell on their backs.

Thoughts?

Terry,

I'm going to go with C, "Abalone". Final answer.

Edit:
Pic 2 looks like an abalone, but pic 1 looks like a stomatella.

I don't think either one is an abalone and not sure exactly what the second one is. The first one could be a stomatella I've just never seen one that big before.

The second one has me puzzled because of the antennae it's got.

I'm about 100% positive the first pic is a stomatella.

I'm really at a loss for words with the other one. Abalone was really a stab in the dark. I've never seen something with antennae quite like that. Most of the time stomatella or abalones have long thin antennae, those are thick and short. Beats me dude.

I have a stoma that looks just like the first one.
Second looks like a nudi with a shell lmao.

:lmao: Yeah I was thinking the same a nudi with a shell.

Ben, Abalone have several holes in the shell if you Image Google for Abalone you will see they all have them.

That Stomatella is HUGE. My biggest are about 1 1/2" not quite 2" But oddly almost all of my Stomatella's are black

I didn't reference it in the initial post. These are all very, very small critters. They'd fit on the pad of your index finger, if you wore a medium sized glove. The ones that are solid black are similar in size. I'd say they are well under an inch in overall length.
