Crinoids revisited

Anybody try a crinoid in a tank being fed vodka or sugar which increases bacteria growth???

I just read an account of sponges proliferating due to vodka dosing - Obviously I'm aware a sponge is not a crinoid --- but there are some similarlities also.

Thoughts anyone?

I doubt it would help. The issue with many non-photosynthetic corals is the quantity of food provided as much as what to feed.

Crinoids probably also feed on more than bacteria.
