Critique my set up please!

Done and done in regards to venting, http://www.ebay.com/itm/330949653005

Got two of these guys and I will wire them in together on a plug. I think I can drill these holes at 2 1/4" and mount them how sethhamto recommended.

After reading through a bunch of posts I'm going to go with an Apex controller also.

So any ideas on the powerbeads, I haven't seen a single good review about suction cup ones. I used the cap of a nalgine bottle which is the same size as a MP10 and there is perhaps 1/8" perhaps less play on both sides of the curve. I'd really want to go with a vortech but not sure if it will work. If not, trying to think of ways to shim it.

Quick sand question. I live right next to a large irrigation ditch that offers all the sand I could want. Of course it's winter right now so I'm sure most things in it are dead, could I use it as a base and just add LS on top of this? I was thinking with going for about 4in of sand in this tank.

In addition to figuring out how to mount a powerhead on a curved surface, the curved surface is also going to amplify the current. Well maybe that is a good thing or an underwater tornado...i am not sure how you create a random flow in a cylindrical tank.

Ok, after further research it looks like I can go with 1-2 Tunze pumps. Might even go with one of their rock holders for the pumps at the bottom of my tank.
