Critter ID: All over my sump, not in display

I was going to clean out my sump today. Noticed numerous 1/2 inch worms? attatched to the glass. What are they and should I be aggressive in removing them or try to leave them alone?

Some type of sponge most likely. No worries.

Yea I wouldn't bother trying to remove them unless the went to the display amd you considered them unsightly

Hard to tell in the pic, but maybe tube worms. They have a hard tube shell with a feathery thing that sticks out the end, right?
