so, my tank overflowed after the overflow box lost suction.. my wife was home so it was a minimal water loss/mess. She shut the power off and left it be since i would be home from work or in a hour or so. So i came home and checked everything out, turned the lights on and found this critter moving along the glass. I thought it was one of my stomatellas at first but then i looked at the other side of the glass..and there was no shell. It was dam near flat.. any ideas?

good bad indifferent? about 3 inches across approx.. maybe a mm or two thick at most.. undecided if i should return it to the DT or put him on sump duty..

It's a Polyclad Flatworm, one of the mollusc-eating species that keeps turning up in reef tanks. Nobody seems to be sure if it has a name, and it's usually identified as "species 1" or whatever. Unless you want to keep it in a species tank and feed it snails or clams, you'll likely want to keep it out of your system.

Cheers,

Don
