I've read through various posts that is a good idea to have crocea clams attach to smaller rocks in case they need to be moved some time in the future.
Well, I did this with both my crocea clams, and after they attached and were moved, I tried to move the smaller one to a different positon. Low and behold, the clam was no longer attached!
Anyone ever experience this before? I did have the rock beneath the sand initially to help position the clam on the rock, but it basically "slipped" off onto the sandbed again. I am absolutely positive it was attached to the rock at one point.
Thanks.
