I just bought my first clam and was wondering what would happen if sand gets on the mantle from my sleeper head goby?
Does it rid itself from the sand or should I blow it off with a turkey baster?
I have a derasa that sits on the sand bed. My clown has dusted it with sand several times and it cleans the sand off easily by pulsing. I haven't had to help it yet, though I'm not sure if other species of clams will do the same.
