I have a 5-6 inch crocea clam, that has been happily established in my 55 gallon tank for about 7 months. Up until recently he has been my most prominent lifeform of my clam, I noticed the damsels were picking at it, but why all of a sudden? the damsels been in there for 5 months and the clam was happy but now he is closed or close to it, how to remove 2 damsels, in a full reef tank without making hell in the tank? I tried leaving acrylic containers but no go. what u suggest

yeah but they hide in the rocks, I cant move all the rocks. I have a 90 gallon empty tank, I could upgrade the55 to the 90, so I am thinking when I move all the rock out, carefully with the clam and all attached with water and such, I will throw the damselsin the lionfish tank, hopefully they will be food muhahaha!

just a warning on the damsels lionfish thing, I have heard of people loving the damsels in with triggers and lions and the damsels killing the triggers and lions, mean little schmucks lol. I used a 2 litter bottle cut off the top and inverted it and he fish were smart enough to get in to get the piece of calamari but not smart enough to get out of the bottle.

dunno, need some tips for the tank move, I gotta take all the coral out with out getting them out of water... fun fun
I have way enough salt water
brewing!

umm depends on the coral but most of it is ok out of water for a little bit, I know acros for instance are sometimes in nature out of water for days.

yeah I am looking threw the rocks, since it is night time, and damsels are well hidden, I really am on the mix on upgrading, thats is going to be alot of work, I am not lazy, but I dont wanna stir everyone up and stuff, I will see if a friend can watch my clam, he has similar set up times, just he has no fdamsels! stupid fish

ok so I did the deed, I got all the damsels out, we will see! I put the damsels in hospital tank, if they live I will take them to the petstore for free lol!~

waited till night then removed all the rock on the corner, what naight mare but I did it, I guess I know how much I love my clam!
