Crocea clam lighting

I am getting one of these in a buy the whole thing and I will make you a deal situation.

What is the min required lighting on these? I currently have pcs but was upgrading to ho t5 in the next week or two. Would this work for a clam?

Probably not, metal halides are best, but from recent threads on here, you will see there are a lot of different opinions on this Generally, most people keep them under halides though

I just got 3 croceas and I have T-5 lighting. I'll let you know. I can keep SPS so I think Clams should work too.

depends on the placement really
my main tank is only like 10" deep, so my SPS, and Deresa clam grow well under my 196w of PC

I would say the light upgrade, the sooner the better, and do it right (individual reflectors ect.)
