Crocea clams

I am aware that crocea clams are one of the more light demanding species of photosynthetic clams. I don't have first hand clam experience; but I have maintained them in other people aquariums. So I wanted to know would a crocea clam maintain good health in about 12 inches of water under a 70 watt metal halide?

I don't recommend it but it has been done

Make sure your water stays around 78-80 they like water temp even less that but will do ok up to 80 but also like high light
