crocea dilemma!

I have a 45g tank. 36x24. I had 380w of VHO lighting. Have just recently upgraded to T-5's. My crocea would really open up with my vho's. (had him on a high spot in the tank) now it doesn't seem to open up as much with the T-5's in the same spot. Should I move it down to the bottom of the tank? New lights have only been in for 2-3 weeks.

It's a good idea to acclimate anything to new and more intense lighting.Lights up,clams down, shorter photo period, and some use layers of window screening between the lights and the tank. From the threads I have read, clams are doing very well under T5's.The footprint of your tank is great for a clam tank, and it also must be shallow(about 12"?).This should make a beautiful display.
