Crocea in the shade and bored stuck

I am concerned my crocea is now being shaded by my bali green slimer, I think I should move it and perhaps even closer to the lights. Its 24" below (2) 150w MH's and it has bored itself to live rock, is it happy? Or should I try to force it to move and if so how do i get the foot to let go? Any advise is appreciated.

u can cut it by its bysall threads to remove it
just cut as close to the lr as possible

It doesn't look like it would be possible to cut the byssal threads. If it's not happy, it should release on it's own.
