Crocea on sand bed

Would it be safe to keep my 4.5" Crocea on my sand bed, or should I move him up on the rocks? It seems happy where it is now.

It is 20 inches from two 250W Phoenix bulbs now.

Thanks

I have one under the exact same conditions and it has been doing great for six months on the sand bed. Just put it directly under the halide if possible.

It is possible to keep T. crocera on the sand, but it is better, if you put this shell on the rock. In the nature T. croceras are on the rocks.

I have mine on a flat rock buried in the sand on the substrate. I also have a small derasa that is on a clamshell filled with sand on the substrate....so far so good
