Crocea Placement and Lighting

Hi, I have a ~4" crocea in my standard 29g tank (18" tall), which is lighted by 250MH (10K DE MiniPendant). The clam is at the bottom, near the front, and somewhat off to the side. I just wanted to make sure that this placement will be ok for the clam to receive plenty of light. How do clams react when there isn't enough light? And if one end of the clam receives more light than the other end, does this affect the clam in any way?

with a 250w 10k MH on a 18" tank the clam should be fine where it is. if the clam starts hyper-extending its mantle or starts browning out then you would want to move it closer to the light.
