My Crocea decided to host in my frogspawn last night. I does not look to good to me now. Do you think its a gonner?

I don't know of anything else that would have done it. He was fine the last time I placed him on the rock work and then when
I found him the next morning he was down on the sand with parts of the frogspawn inside the shell. When I pulled them apart the frogspawn did not seem to be stuck to the clam but the clam looked like this. Needless to say the tank was eating clam for breakfast this morning.

Did you just get the clam recently?

I have heard from others that it is best to let the clam attach to a piece of small rock then glue that rock in place where you want it so the clam does not fall from your rock work. Personally I keep mine on the sand floor.

Yes I was actually thinking of saying that but thought I would leave it alone until it was just brought up. Frogspawn, hammer, and torch corals are in the same family and seem to be equally potent. I have all three in my tank and they all three touch each other an ocasion and when the torch reaches out to sting the frogspawn it retracts a little then after an hour or two comes back.

I would be cautious of all these.
