Crocea won't attach...

I have been placing my crocea in various different places in my tank and he doesn't seem to want to attach to any of them. I've been keeping him mid-high level in the tank and I've been told that they prefer the rocks. It seems as though he may attach for a few days, but later I find him either on his shell (mantle facing the glass) or find him toppled down the rockwork.

Is there any trick to getting a crocea to permanently attach itself? I assume that you place them so that the flate, white-filamentous/flesh looking part of the clam is facing the rocks and its mantle faces toward the lights...

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

you have tp be patient, sometime they take a while to get used to a certain spot before they attach. Mine attached to a rock high up in my tank then decided to drop down and dig himself in the sand and attach to the bottom of my tank.

DON'T MOVE YOUR CLAMS! Let them stay in place for several months at least! Nothing happens quickly in an aquariums...
