just got my first crocea and i have a 4x65w pc setup over my 55. should i start the clam at the bottum and move it up if needed or the reverse. and secondly i dose with marine snow.....is that sufficient?
put a small rock under the substrate so the clam will attach to it then u will need to move it up to the top of ur tank.dont want to discourage u but it will be hard to keep a crocea happy with pc's.would be much happier with mh. u will want to get some DT'S to feed it, ur clam wont eat marine snow
Agreed. Marine Snow has been shown to be almost useless (mostly water). He will need live phyto like DTs. Stick the clam as close to the lights as possible.
