crosshatch trigger.. male vs female

so I bought this online from a somewhat local vendor (4hrs away or so) that is very reputable. it was sold as a male crosshatch trigger. granted this is the smallest I have seen of these ever but I could have bought a 8.5" female locally delivered to my house for same price. I always thought that if im going to spend then money for a crosshatch and not the pair I would buy the male for the extra money... anyways this was sold as male not changing or whatever but when I text him earlier he said that the mnale colors would come in as it got older.... Is this a female they (me too I guess) hope will change or am I stuck with an awesome female? let me know if I didn't embed this right

Are all crosshatch born female and some change male depending on environment or are some born male some female?

I'll get a clearer pic tonight with a real camera but I received an email this morning saying that the distinctive RED dot on its tell is how you can tell it's a male and that it will eventually turn the whole tail red. I'm just not seeing the red unless the yellow dot is orangish... I'll also figure out how to embed the image not just attach it also tonight...
Am i being weird and concerned about nothing or is this an obvious female?

Do all male crosshatch start with a red tail? This guy/gals is only maybe 3" and they were saying it will turn red but I'm unconvinced... it does kind of resemble the blue throat but it has no blue on its face either. Looks almost identical to female crosshatches when I Google it

100% female crosshatch. Crosshatch wont start to turn to males until 4-5" usually. there are exceptions and i've seen just under 4" males (1% chance at getting this size) and then there are 8-9" females. the one in the video is a female (definitely not a male bluethroat)

So there is a chance it may turn male when it hits 4/5ish inches? it is like 3" now (smallest i have seen, She is out swimming like the 9"+ fish are just fish but if I dont get the pair I want the male coloration. I have couple tangs already the color of the female...
