There are lots of people who are growing beautiful corals under strickly blue spectrum lights. Take a look at the show tanks of World Wide Corals...all Blue T5's heavy with reef bright supplements. Now I dont think you'll achieve the explosive growth you would see with a ushio 10k, but you'll get great growth along with awesome color.

We have to realize in this hobby that Blue LED's sell, but for those selling SPS pieces, you don't wanna over do the blue. For instance...that beautiful Oregon Blue Tort under heavy LED's looks drab and black. I think a 20K spectrum is a fair color for selling corals.

Worldwide Corals, Jason Fox, Cherry Corals, and people who spend Thousands on Little Frags all use Blue Lights.

If these guys felt White was needed with all their Super Expensive Corals don't you think they would use it?
