Hey,

I would like to put two of this useful beauties in my reef tank +/- 200 gallons (7 ft L x 1.9 ft W)... at he same moment, a near adult and a flashy orange juvenile

Is this possible...experiences would be appreciated.

Grtz,
Kurt

PS. Other tangs in my system are Z. gemmatums and an A. pyroferus juvenile

I love these guys, one reason why I never tried adding a juvenile to my tank with my adult was the fact that if it would not work the razors from the adult would slice faster than I could get him back out before severe damage.

You'd definitely be fine with a single Chevron.

I fear you may run into aggression problems with multiple in a tank of that size.

it will not work, they are great fish, but not with any other tangs.

Hey,

Thank you for the reply but A chevron with "other" tangs is possible.
Zebrasoma (gemmatum) don't eat entirely the same greens as the chevron and the shape is different so no probs.

Grtz,

Kurt
