just dave, that's just sick! How long did it take to get that awesome zoa collection? Do you have a thread on your build? What is your equipment list? Your tank is smokin!

Thanks.

The zoanthids where collected over a period of a year or so from different colonies that came through the shop. The tank I've had for over a year and just now got around to setting it up. While the set-up is new most of the inhabitants have been with me for quite some time waiting for me to put it together.

The tank is 24"x20"x20".

Return pump is a external Coralife Turbo Sea 790 gph unit that feeds through a Aqua UV 8w sterilizer and returns through to the tank via a Sea Swirl. The back of the tank is partitioned as an overflow and holds a Tunze Nano Skimmer, heater, TLF media reactor ,and pH monitor probe. The light is a Coralife Aqualight Pro retro that contains two 65w actinic CF bulbs, 150w DE MH 20k bulb and two 1w moonlights.

Fish are one McCoskers flasher wrasse, three Pink Streaked wrasses, Potters Leopard wrasse, and a Eviota sp. goby.

I have some pics of my old cube in my gallery and also some sketchups of the new 37 gallon semi cube I am planning.

here is a 48x48x36 "cube" that I installed a while back. It looks like a true cube because of the tall canopy. circulation is from a ampmaster 3000 and a mag 24. lighting is 4x250 hqi and 4x65 act vho

jcm2m9, holy smokes that is a fine tank. Can you post equipment setup and more pictures of your setup and equipment? Where did you get that fine acrylic tank? How many gallons is that? Do you have a thread on it? It look slike you have spouts coming out of the sand on all for corners and a back over flow. Did you drill everything yourself? Pictures pictures pictures!!!

Here is the thread of my build. I am getting ready to start a new thread of tank upates. Tank Build!

Scott at Aquatics System Design built the tank. He just finished my nano calcium reactor. I just have to go pick it up from him

The tank is just under 40 gallons. I have a Mag 9.5 for a return pump. It is throttled down and feeds my cube and 29 gallon tank. My lighting is a pendant with a 250w 15k XM bulb. My closed loop pump has 4 returns and is powered my a Gen-x PCX30. I just bought a SCWD off the BST forum and am going to mod it to go on the tank. It is going to be awesome once I get this done. My sump is the same size as the display tank. Half of the sump holds my CSS125 and my macro algae and the other half has my return pump and more live rock.

Oh yeah, I can not for get about my AC Jr.!

Here are some more pics. Some of them are a little older.

Very nice. How did you aquascape? Are rocks ziptied to rod ect...? Can you please give more info :)

The rocks are drilled and skewered onto 2 - 3/8" acrylic rods that are glued to 1/2" thick acrylic bases that are anchored under the sand. It was a very easy project.
