I just got some soft corals and I noticed this small guy on one of them. its about 2 centimerters, black and brown patters on its back, and has a white head with two eye stocks with pure black eyes. I was curious if anyone knew what it was and if it is a pest, as I havent put the coral in my tank yet.

Probably a nudibranch/sea slug.. picture really isn't great for ID.. too small..

Can you get a higher res/closer image?

Probably harmless though.. Toss it in the sump if you have one..
There are far more that are harmless/beneficial vs a problem.. I personally wouldn't worry

Well this is identicle to the one I found. Dosent seem like much are known about them besides the fact that they eat soft corals. I allready added it to the tank, and Ill doubt I'll see it agian as it's so small. I only saw one though, so if it dosent reproduce asexually I think im safe for the long run. :(
