Cultured Bimac?

I'm thinking of getting a aquacultured bimac from live aquaria. I had a pygmy octopus for about six months, which as I understand it was about its full lifespan (it was full grown when I got it), so I'm at least marginally confident in my ability to keep one.

I do have some specific questions, though. Will it eat frozen, or will it require live food? Feeding my pygmy got expensive at times, and being able to feed frozen instead would be wonderful.

The size is also a concern. They're listed at 3/4" to 1 1/2" inches. The aquarium I was thinking of putting it in is a 20h. I would be afraid it would get lost in there. Or would it be okay? Is it possible for a tank to be too large?

Next question. The tank in question has two small saddle back clowns and a cleaner shrimp. I don't think I'll be able to catch any of them. My fear is not of them getting eaten, but would it be possible for them to eat or hurt a small octo? The largest clown is only an inch. The cleaner shrimp is about two inches.

You will actually need a bigger tank if the octo makes it to maturity. They can get up to 3 feet in total length from arm to arm. I just got 2 octos the size of my thumb that are in my 135 gallon tank. You won't see them all the time when they are that small unless it is feeding time. They will hide in the liverock or whatever and not come out until they get a little older and more confident. Also, they will accept frozen food just fine, but live food is always nice. Try ghost shrimp, they are cheap. As far as the other tank residents, the clown will eat your octo, and your octo will eat your cleaner shrimp. If you want an octo tank it needs to only have an octopus, some cleaner snails and crabs, and anything you intend for the octo to eat in it. Anything else is asking for trouble. Let is know if you have any other questions.
