Cultured Blue Squamosa clams

Hey, at least ours are different. And from the photo of the cultured blue squammie I've seen, the blue is more blue.
I'm tempted to get these cultured ones to compare.

I have been wanting one of these guys from DD. How have the clams settled in for everyone? It is a bit of a price tag for a tiny clam...

Mine is doing veery well, and so is the one my friend received. We are VERY happy with the blue squammies. And in all honesty, that is a a good price, especially coming from DD.

They haven't been selling as fast at LA DD as they thought they would so they are marked down to $149. My clam is still doing great. I encourage anyone thinking about a clam to check out these cultured beauties.

So I search and search to no avail then I order from DD and if coarse my LFS gets one in. They sell it to me $110. Can't pass it up so now I will have two. Doesn't always happen that way?

Here's mine. He is a little nipped up on the edges but is healthy otherwise. I have never seen one with a gold rim so I had to grab him. The other one in corner is slapshot's.

Thank you! I got it at a LFS and they said it was cultured in Bali.
