Culturing Questions

Hey everyone. I'm on the fence of trying to start my own culture setup for my reef tank. I've been doing a bit of reading and trying to determine exactly what I should be culturing for my reef tank.

1)What do you guys suggest for culture/ your daily rutien and time spent (most important because I cant spend much time on this every day)
2) where do you get your supplies from
3 any websites with great reading info

okay, i'll answer....
what do you mean 'culture'?
i culture planktons, but that's just because i like to. i'm trying to raise some fish larvae.
live phytoplankton is a beneficial feed for your reef, especially if you have filter feeders....
if you wanna breed your clowns, culturing rotifers and phyto are the way to go. you can practice on brine shrimp, try raising them to adult stage and then feeding them to fatten your clowns.
if you're wondering about setting up a breeding project, the breeders forum has good reading.
if you mean fragging corals, check the coral forums for beginners corals.
familiarize yourself with the type of lighting you're gonna need, and water movement.

What exactly are you thinking you thinking of culturing. If you were more specific might be able to help?

I'm thinking of any kind of phytoplankton to dose to my tank to as a natural food for my corals
