Cup Coral Help needed!

I just noticed this morning that my cup coral has what looks like a brown rust on it. Also it is releasing a lot of that "white milky" stuff then it normally does. I have had the coral for about one month and this is the first time I have seen something like this.

Any thoughts???

hmm, I have a huge cup about 9-10"x5". He does that too every once in awhile. A pic would help. In my case a polyp retracts turns brown then releases eggs. Once that's done it emerges and is back to normal. I wouldn't worry about it yet. Make sure and see that the polyp re-emerges. The eggs are a good source of nutrition for the tank too.

Here are a couple pictures of the cup coral. As you can see some of the polyps are out and the ones that are around the brown are not.
