The question was simple, can I use cupramine and prazipro together. And the answer is yes.

Yes but your results will vary. Copper must be present at a therapeutic level into the second half of the ich life cycle to be effective.

Thanks Brian.

Back to the topic, as of last night cupramine at .25 and the fish are eating and looking good. The eye on my emperor cleared up.

I do not plan to take the cupramine all the way up to .5, but will remain at .25 until prazipro treatment is done. Then I will remove the prazipro and get the cupramine up to treatment level of .5.

I know you are an advocate of TTM and so am I. But in this situation I needed to use cupramine and prazipro.

Just use them together and go ahead mix them. If you feel you need more dosage, go ahead mix more. You know what you are doing already.

I guess you got the experience huh?

14 years buddy :D

What about you, show me your tanks mister know it all. I speak from my 14 years of experience.

FYI, LFS use cupramine as well.

Next time you buy a fish, do a copper test you may be surprised in what you find.

The reason I don't buy from LFS!!

LMAO, you know nothing about this hobby. Where do you buy from?

Where do you think the fish all came from when they are taken out of the ocean. Did it ever occur to you that the collectors and wholesales may use copper to control ich.

Do you think liveaquaria does TTM to all their fish?
