Cupramine and test kits

So which test kits are you guys using to test Cupramine copper? I know the seachem one has issues.

I haven't had any issues with Seachem's test kits in the last year or two.

I use the salifert one with Cupramine and have always had good results.

The issue i have with the seachem is thats its next to impossible to read.The salifert is better but it has a limited range.TBH their is no good test kit for cupramine but if i had to pick i would go with the salifert.

I've used the seachem test, and gotten high readings, low readings, zero readings on a hospital tank undergoing a copper treatment, and even gotten three different readings in three consecutive tests of the same water.

I'm not sure which tests work, but I do know which one doesn't.

Red Sea is easy to read - and it comes with a bottle of ionic copper.

I didnt know red sea worked with cupramine?If it works well maybe i need to pick up that test kit.

I recently used an API test kit and it worked pretty well with the copramine.

Check Seachem's FAQ on cupramine, they advise that the Seachem copper kit can be substituted with the Red Sea kit.

Be careful with that kit, the precision is terrible, so it makes it next to impossible to determine if you're measuring 0.3 or 0.9...
