curious blob!?!?

i'm not sure what this is but i found three of these blobs on the bottom branch of my yellow leather. First time i've seen it in my tank since the 5 i've had it for. Anyway, other characteristics are the weird bumps on this creature, also when i flipped one over, i notice hard like tentacles like underneath a star fish. I made a mistake of touching this part and i got a stinging sensation... i ran my fingers under warm water and thankfully after a while it went away) Also, due to the fact that i had touched it for a while, it shrunk up and later went back to its normal self. The one i carefully peeled off to observe is actually hugging a piece of rock as in the picture and it has slightly doubled it's size.

Any one???

if it were my opinion i would think it was a tunicate too. I don't really know much bout them. Should i be worried?

A clearer shot might help. From what I can say, I'd guess tunicate or sponge, too, but the picture is very blurry. Tunicates and sponges are unlikely to be harmful, so I wouldn't be worried.

Not to be a nag, but I don't put my hands in the tank without gloves much anymore, and I never touch an organism unless I was very sure of its toxic and biting capabilities. Gloves are good!
