Curious on fish value

I have a breeding pair of Mandarin Dragonets. They both eat frozen and new life spectrum. I am curious of their value if I were to sell them?

If you were to sell them yourself I would say about 20-25, but if your selling them to fish stores you will get significantly less per fish. I would say about 8-10 per fish. I was breeding clowns Ocellaris and getting between 6-8 and the LFS were selling them for 20.00.

I picked up a breeding pair of target mandarins for trade out but the seller was asking $ 75.00 for the pair. Breeding pairs are worth more than the retail price of the fish, but you stand to get the best price for them if you can find a local breeder.

I figured considerably more due to them being trained to eat frozen/pellets.

I have heard that ORA is going to release captive breed ones this summer early fall,, price will be about 10 to 15 percent more than they are now, captive breed will and should net you about 40 percent of what they retail for in your area. Congrats to you and if you could post some pics of them.
