Whats the difference between RO water and water thats been boiled (on the stove)?

RO/DI water with a TDS of 0 has nothing in it, it's as pure as it gets. Boiling water might reduce some of the chemicals as gas with the steam, but most of the particles are left behind, and possibly in a higher concentration than before boiling.

Amen. If you are using water for a tank with corals, TDS=0 is the only way to go.
