Current FISSION Nano Skimmer any good?

piece of JUNK!!! do not waste your $$$. billions of micro-bubbles, extremely small collection cup, very poorly designed.

its horrible....the only good thing is the powerhead that comes with it! Thats the only good thing that i was able to keep from that piece of junk!

I just bought a ASM mini G skimmer,fits with plenty of room in my 10g sump. $115 shipped.

Actually... i found the fission nano skimmer to be the best one on the market







NOT!!!!!! (say it like Borat). Likewise, its a piece of junk, even the powerhead isnt worth using alone.

The problem with skimmers like the Nano skimmer is height. Bubbles need time to rise.

True but the small volume of water makes it easier to skim the total volume many times more than a larger tank. Diffuser plates would be nice for nano skimmers.

Im debating on the TUNZE DOC or simply the DIY Pvc experiment. Ive heard very good things about the DIY skimmers!
