So my current setup is HOB CS 100 Overflow BOx with flex tubing.
My drain tube runs down then kinda does a bend/loop like an S shape.

SHould I keep as is or try my hand at plumbing PVC..

is it hard to uninstall all the flex tubing and set up/install pvc when tank is already up and running?

Your choice.. What problems are you having that make you think you need to do anything?

Switching to PVC is simple for those that don't have to ask the question.. For those that do.. well...you may find out :p

It's not hard but I suggest doing all before hand so you know you don't have to run to the store for a fitting.
Lay it out dry on a board including the extra needed to go inside for the glue.
Start early so you have plenty of time.
Nothing wrong with flex tubing though, if you can eliminate that "S" it would be better.

Mainly to fix my S issue as manetioned by Vinney Above. I may need to
cut some wood to achieve a straigher shot to the sump.. but was considering
going pvc instead but may not be needed..

I am getting some gurgling air sound and it may be from the bend.. I have a HOB cs 100 overflow and its missing the filter sponge and vent tube which I just ordered but I dont think that is causing the flushing sound.
