can you please post recent pics of your snowflake clowns or ora picassos. there has not been much discussion of them recently. jsut curious if the trend has declined or the supply.
 
The snowflake interest has gone up, but the supply isn't keeping up with the demand. I had 2 pairs, but lost one in December. I'm hoping they'll spawn soon, this pic is about a year old, I've had the pair for a year and 4 months, the pair I lost I had for maybe a month.

I've noticed that retailers have increased their price by $100, don't know if the wholesale cost has gone up for them. Hopefully mine start spawning soon.

Thanks Huey, Morgan gave me the idea. Only thing is is you have an acrylic tank, make sure to put a piece of tile under the pot or line the pot with silicone. I found out the hard way and scratched the acrylic.

Post pics of your pairs, I know you have a couple of the snowflake x percs.

after looking at my hybrids, i think my original snowflake pair might be a hybrid also. they do not have the dominate white pattern like most snowflakes.

i hope you intend to raise the babies when they breed! :)


i think most on rc have seen my clowns lol, its an addiction, i need to see more of others :) after time, i start to get bored looking at mine somtimes :)

omg i love them...i am sick of the false and true percs and everything...its just so commercial we need to have this every now and again i would kill for one...i have a black ocellaris with orange face and another ocellaris but wish i had a pair of the blacks or one of these snowflakes...i hate canada and shipping laws...beautiful clowns guys

I agree with the addiction. You can always send your clowns to me since your bored at looking at them. :D I plan on raising the fry when they breed.

This picture is from when I first received the clowns & I have them acclimating. I can not for the life of me get a good picture of them in the tank....they are fast little buggers

About a month maybe alittle longer...I also have a pair of Picasso's but the snowflakes are nicer in my opinion.
 
yes agreed, i much prefer the snowflakes over picassos. in fact ive sold/given away all the 20 picassos ive ever had.

your snowflakes are beautiful.

How are your snowflake babies?? I know you are not selling, but always looking for another set for my Micro/Acan tank
